The short version

Shuffleroo helps groups run gift exchanges. Be kind, use it for its purpose, and remember that the gifts, the budget, and the party are up to you.

Using Shuffleroo

  • You can use Shuffleroo if you are 13 or older. A parent or guardian may add and manage a younger child in a family group.
  • Hosts: only add people who expect to be in your exchange. Only add an email address if you have that person's permission to share it with us.
  • Keep your sign-in links and codes to yourself. Anyone with them can act as you in that group.

Please don't

  • Use Shuffleroo to spam, harass, or impersonate anyone.
  • Put anything illegal, hateful, or harmful in names, notes, or group details.
  • Try to find out other people's matches, break our security, or overload the service.
  • Use bots or scripts to create groups or join them.

We may remove content or groups, or block access, if someone breaks these rules.

Your content

What you write (names, interests, notes) stays yours. You let us store and show it to your group, and send it to the services that run Shuffleroo, only so that the app works.

Gift ideas from AI

Gift ideas are written by AI from what your person shared. They can be wrong. Prices are guesses, products may not exist exactly as described, and some may not suit your person. Check before you buy.

"Find it" opens a web search for convenience. We are not responsible for other websites, their products, or their prices.

The exchange itself

Shuffleroo picks names and keeps them secret. It does not buy, ship, or guarantee any gift. Budgets, dates, and who shows up are between the people in your group.

Availability

We work to keep Shuffleroo running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features. We will try to give hosts notice before a big change.

No warranty

Shuffleroo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from gifts, gift ideas, or the actions of people in your group.

Ending use

You can stop using Shuffleroo at any time. Hosts can delete their group in Settings. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. If you keep using Shuffleroo after a change, the new terms apply.
